Why use an Asset Management Plan Template?
Without an Asset Management Plan (AMP) in place, your organisation's strategic objectives are likely to fail.
The AMP acts as the blueprint for your asset planning process. You’ll find that writing an AMP helps with thinking through the logic flow of the overall process. You’ll be able to use your AMP as a guide to direct activities and tasks in a planned and auditable way.
The success of an AMP is directly related to the commitment of senior management. If a directive is simply to write an AMP, then that’s all that will be produced, and the document will be of limited value. But if your organisation aligns its data, processes, systems and people to deliver effective and efficient asset management, it will realise a great deal of value from the process.
