Past Webinars:

Tuesday 14th April: Project Planning

All roads lead to the Works Programme. Whether data collection, condition assessments, lifecycle analysis or writing AMPs - you are assessing, analysing and planning to produce reliable works programmes.

This 30 minute 'refresher' will demonstrate how to use the embedded tools within the software to create 'planned projects' to form your works-programme. You will learn how to setup projects that link to components including their prioritisation, ranking and costings.

Attend this webinar to learn how to:

  • Use the lifecycle analysis and criticality factors to determine which components could be considered over a 1, 3 and 5 year period
  • Interrogate the data using the range of analytical features within Project Planning including condition forecasting and budgeting.
  • Set lookup values for Activities, Programmes, and Drivers.
  • Use project Priorities and Primary/Secondary Drivers to provide evidence to which projects should be implemented first.
  • Update your asset data after works have been done.
  • Use Project Attributes to manage project Status and to hold a range of project information.

Tuesday 21st April: Maintenance Planner

The webinars are proving to be a great way to uncover additional functionality that you may not be currently using and to make sure that you are up to date with current best-practice.

Attend this webinar to learn how to:

  • Influence the remaining life of components by applying various ‘Planned Maintenance’ scenarios.
  • Produce a cyclic planned maintenance programme at a component level.
  • Recognise the difference between ‘mandatory’ and ‘preventative’ works.
  • Run Planned Maintenance scenarios based on turning on/off tasks to enable planning for an affordable level of maintenance and servicing
  • Find out how to use Maintenance Planner for scheduling a range of tasks including: lawn mowing, cleaning, compliance checks, inspections, filter replacements, and testing.
  • Learn how to sync Maintenance tasks and make them appear on the Calendar.

Tuesday 28th April: Self-Service Reporting

In this 30 minute webinar, we will demonstrate an interactive reporting tool which allows you to amend and build your own reports within SPM Assets. Self-service Reporting, commonly referred to as ‘ad hoc reporting’ is a module that allows you to stay informed and make better decisions with compelling information. It gives you the ability to create your own interactive, graphical and tabular reports with drag-and-drop functionality.

Attend this webinar to learn:

  • Analyse the condition of your portfolio from any angle.
  • Understand your long-term expenditure requirements sliced or grouped in any way possible.
  • Create different chart types and re-format labels, chart titles, axis and data points.
  • Build interactive cross tabs and chart-based reports within SPM Assets.
  • Sort and re-structure data.
  • Filter on specific datasets.
  • Save your own customised report for future reference.

Tuesday 5th May: Programs

In this webinar, we will demonstrate Programs which allows you to quickly build works-programs and create a holistic view of every single project across all business areas in one central place.

Attend this webinar to learn how to:

  • Transfer your existing projects to Programs – can better see projects and start planning across the next 5 years aligned with your budgets
  • Add your other projects – so that you have one source of planned projects across your organisation or portfolio
  • Setting up new Activities and Programs to group your projects – so that you can better report and communicate
